Split yearly bill to monthly: scheduled transactions? chronjob?

Dear all, does beancount have a scheduled transaction creator or has anyone implemented something like it? For example a chronjob that inserts some predefined transaction every first day of the month? I'd like to smooth out yearly bills over the 12 months, like in the following way: 2020-01-0
