I'm a long-time ledger user. A recent thread on the ledger list leads me to
look more closely at Beancount. But I couldn't get the web site
(http://furius.ca/beancount) to load and it still doesn't load today -- it
times out. Is that a known problem? And is this where I should downlo

I am long term ledger user - and having seen beancount recommended
recently over ledger, thought I would give it a try.
Thus I have installed beancount with pip3 and in addition downloaded

My website is down for a few days as it's being reset to a new IP address
for an administrative reason;
the main problem with this is that a lot of the documentation links go

Hi,
I am not sure why exactly would you want to do that, but if I get it right,
you should just rename it from `Assets:CashWallet` to
`Expenses:CashWallet`. It will continue to work as before (will accumulate
value), but it will be "OK" (all expense accounts work like that) as it
