The best way of installing gentoo is the stage3 way, though i have both the
CD and DVD installer 2006.1.
If you have 24/7 net connection go for stage-3 (if you really want to ur OS
as totally customized according to ur need and hardware support)
Btw, gentoo installation (stage-3) with gnome or kde

1. if i want to install other distros say Debian 4.0, then how will i do it?
