Hi
all,
my name is Torsten,
I'm new to the list.
I'm using Bacula

I've installed
bacula and got it to work with a server and a laptop. Now my questions are
those:
1) Can I specify a
schedule that says: "Backup at 12:00 midnight OR THE NEXT POSSI
Thank you very much for your support! This will help me set the system up!

Hi
all,
I'd like to thank
you for your kind help with my previous post. I have implemented a reschedule
interval and the possibility that the client can define which file to backup.
Thanks.
I'd like to include
own scripts on the same machine where the director runs (and the servers fd
Thanks, that helps. I'm still fiddling with some of it's options but the
"su" problems are gone.
Bye,
Torsten.

Hi
all,
I have some weird
problems since I removed Ubuntu's bacula 1.36 and compiled my own (1.38.5 and
1.38.6-beta3).
As a sidenote: With
1.36 on Ubuntu I had the problem that the directory would hang occasionally. I
could connect to it with the console (it said "connected") but it wou

Hi
all,
version 1.38.5 seems
to hang on my machine the same way as 1.36. My machine is Ubuntu 5.10, AMD64,
mysql database.
It worked for a
while (3 hours or so), made some backups successfully and now my wx console
connects to it but nothing else (no available commands are displayed etc

Just don't know where to look else.
Can you see a problem?
Thanks,
Torsten.

I have finally got
my Bacula to work nicely. It backs up Full backups in ony disk file and
incremental in another. I have set the Volume Use Duration to 6 days so that I
get new files every week.
My question: Can I
set the time-definition in the Pool that way that Bacula start n
Hi Barry,
in the mean time have a look at my little script. I
called it run.sh and call it in a RunBeforeJob directive. The names of the other
scripts are its parameters.
Maybe it's useful:
#!/bin/sh
SCRIPT_PATH=/usr/local/bacula/scripts:/usr/local/bacula/agy-scripts
PATH=$SCRIPT_PATH:
