I searched for two days and didn't find a solution. Maybe you could give me a
solution.
OS:
Kubuntu 6.10, bacula 2.0.3 from sf.net, compiled with all options, backup
works well.
Storage:
NFS share mounted over gbit network
Backup works relative fine (20GB/hour)
CLIENT:
Windows 2003 stand

Maybe someone has a good idea:
My Bacula 5.0.2 is damned slow on backing up some w2k3 servers.
I use compression = GZIP
and get only a throughput of about 1,3 MB/sec
I tested the network speed and got an avereage of 21mb/sec. Why is
Bacula that slow?
Without compression i get about 4-5
