What I eventually did was to DELETE all tapes, and adding them back
to the database, in order (previosly they where not in number order -
for some reason).

The trick is this:
Make the tape you want bacula to use accessible by purging it and setting
it to recycle (like you've done).
Make all other tapes in the same pool, which you don't want
