According to the specs presented in http://www.tape-library.com/quantum/sdlt-600.htm, your tapes can store 300 GB native and *up to* 600 GB compressed. Keep in mind that 2:1 compression is just wishful thinking; an optimistic estimate. It could be less in practice. I have an LTO-2 drive, and my tap
