Hm I have released the drive, done an inventory with "update slots scan" and restarted the backup, then mounted the tape by hand.. now test backup is running... May be I'm wrong in autochanger configuration.. I set the tape drive /dev/rmt/0bn to enable dynamic size block usage (BSD style..) ..

Yes. I did. To solve the issue I tried to mount via shell command: mtx load 36 then inside bconsole: mount slot=36 however bacula is not able to append data, device is open but pointer is at the beginning of the media: Device parameters: Archive name: /dev/rmt/0bn Device name: Drive-1 File=1 bloc
