Use this:
mysql defaults-file=... extra-defaults-file=... (see reference manual
for mysql)

record, and it's failing to log in. I suspect that it's because
bacula-dir is running as bacula but mysql is looking in /root for the
.my.cnf file that contains the password instead of in /var/lib/bacula
(~bacula) due to bacula
