I am getting the same error, or one very similar to it.
FreeBSD 6.1, Bacula 2.0.?, Using an LTO2 drive.
I'm still doing tests to determine if it is my device or a problem with

btape test and it passed all the tests. Also ran the autoloader test
and that passed.
