I not an expert but i use disk storage and if y have a "Maximum Volume
Bytes" when the max arrived , Bacula mount a new file.
For the tape it's the same.
so you can put 800+ GB (to be confirmed)

Jasen M. Lentz,
Every try coping a half tb file? 40 50GB files and a pile of virtual
drives can be a lot more manageable. There is no real downside to more
smaller files.
