Probably you should manually *purge *all volumes you lost and try restore.
If you have several volumes I suggest to create a script bash script to
generate commands to bconsole.

We will keep these copy tapes on another building (~5km away). There they
have a reinforced safe that the company "Itaipu Binacional" already use for
