I've already set both of these options... Last night i had a weird thing where instead of using the wednesday tape in the drive, it asked for the previous FRIDAY's tape which was still in append mode. A simple unmount/remount fixed it and the backup started again.. after waiting for user interv

I think the basic problem that you have had, and it seems like you don't quite understand though you have found a solution, is that recycling for Bacula requires applying two concepts: 1. the time Bacula can write on a Volume, 2. the time Bacula keeps that Volume before reusing it. Most people
