You will probably have to ask your distro for this or wait till
someone who uses that distro responds. I am using gentoo so I really
can not help that much with other distro specific help..

The link looks fine. Look at the permission on consolehelper. See if a

First see if /usr/bin/bat exists.
It may be /usr/sbin/bat.
