thanks..  looks like I currently have that option enabled, here is what my drive definition is from the SD conf file. I too am using an IBM LTO-4 drive, I'd like to see what you have for your drive maybe it's another setting I have awry,. Device {   Name = IBM-ULTRIUM-LTO4   Media Type = LTO4

Sorry about the late response it looks like whenever a backup run completes and bacula finishes a volume to catalog verify run on all of my servers, when I try to start a new backup like a normal nightly, it throws the following error and marks the tape "Error". 01-Nov 00:01 unixtape-sd JobId 1637
