The simplest way is likely to send the backup reports to a mailing list that offers daily digests for delivery, such as mailman: http://wiki.list.org/DOC/Mailman%202.1%20Members%20Manual#A8_Digests Then subscribe to that list and choose to have the backup reports delivered to you in a daily digest.
