I fixed that error on update in bconsole. Since I had everything screwed up with the Pools I just deleted the mysql database and started over. I didn't need the backups I have an emergency external drive I backup to also just incase. I'm a true believer in backups and always make more than 1.

You might check out Amanda..Yes, i agree with you in that some sense Bacula lacks features that make it "usable" for people like a GUI, although BAT is not too bad.If you are resourceful, you can script backups using tar...like they did in the "old" days. In this case you do not need bacul

Hi Rickinfl, it sound like you are using filestorage - is that correct? If so, you probably forgot to setup "Pool Options to Limit the Volume Usage" (see: http://www.bacula .org/5.2.x-manuals/en/main/main/Basic_Volume_Management.html) This way you end up with one file per pool on that grows till y
