I'm a complete div, the scripts are in the source.
download the tar.gz for the appropriate version of bacula you are using,
extract it and have a look in updatedb.
I couldn't get the scripts to actually run so I opened them up and ran the
contents as a query in mysql, seems to have done the jo
well I've got the server taking new backups so I don't want to play about too
much (and restoring the database took ages, the first 14Gb took half an hour
and the last 2Gb took about 4 hours)
Anyway, I've just built a virtual server and I'm copying the database over and
will play about with it
now logging is working again and I've created a few new filesets in new
locations so I can run new backups without touching the old stuff, but I still
need to get that back.
If I run a restore, it only shows about half a dozend clients (there should be
a LOT more)

Hi there, I was forced to to an upgrade of debian etch to lenny, this upgraded
my bacula and it attempted an automatic upgrade of the database.
The upgrade failed (I think due to disk space problems) so the database was
wrecked.
