Hi guys
I have a new bacula running and am wondering what do you recommend for an
offsite backup, adding it to the current local storage.
I was told by management that they dont want to worry if their servers get
stolen.

how may I know how long its been since the clients where backed up from bcosole
of whatever? I jsut want to find out quickly which ones have the longest time
to see whats going on with them
btw, every once in a while employees lave the company and new ones come

I compiled 2.2.5 with a few patches before 2.2.6 came
out, and modified very little of the sample config and
let it alone.
I just noticed that, the catalog is not being saved,

bacula, what will happen when I am backing up almost a
gig? will it take a month to recover a file?
I am still waiting 6 hours after running restore and
marking 1 xls file :s
This is backing up on disk.

Hi there, I installed 2.2.5 with all patches included,
and made minor modifications to the default config
scripts to meet my needs.
I simply changed /usr/src/bacula-2.2.5 to /home and
modified schedules for a monmthly cycle instead of
weekly.

I have a single file server with 2x 512 GB hard
drives.
Ive been given a bunch of older hard drisk to backup
to:
1x 80 IDE GB
1x 100 IDE GB
2x 200 IDE GB
1x 320 IDE GB
Actual disk usage on the file server that I will
backup is only 200 GB but growing, and I would like to
set something up that m
