Hi Everyone,
The bacula director process on our backup server hangs when backing up a
particular client. Here are the details followed by the server error
message.
Server : debian 5 - bacula 5.0.1-1 with SQLite database
Client: debian 4 - bacula 2.2.0-1 backing up 43GB
At this stage it is no
and the client software are not
version-compatible. However, my attempts to install an older version of
bacula (bacula-client-2.4.4-1.fc9.i386.rpm) on the client fail due to
dependencies.
Anyone can think of a suggestion?
Hi Everyone,
We have configured nagios to monitor our backup server's ports 9101, 9102 and
9103. bacula has no problem with nagios checking status of the ports, but
keeps displaying an error message for port 9101:
17-Jan 10:14 bacula-dir: ERROR in authenticate.c:269 UA Hello from
client:192.16
Hi Everyone
I have been using bacula for more than two months now and quite happy with it.
However, there are some points still unclear to me. As an example, I run a
backup job which does both full and differential saves and am undecided to
use either a single pool or one pool for each level. C
