Hi,
I try to use copy-jobs with an neo200s (2 drives,with logical partition:
2 jukeboxes with one drive each).
Bacula is version 5.2.10.
If I run an copyjob with 4.8 TB the job fails during volume-change on
the normal (source) backup-jukebox.
Both jobs failed at the same time (2:00):

Hi all,
I try to use copy jobs to copy the last fullbackup from tape to another
tape (different pool).
Work so far, but during an running copy job the normal backup jobs don't
start. And this is an problem, because some fullbackups are very big (up
to 8TB) and takes days not hours.

Hi,
last friday i updated our backup-server from bacula 5.0.3 (mysql) to
bacula 5.2.1 (postgresql).
During the update i change the jukebox (Neo2000E): before the jukebox
was partitioned and used from two nodes (both via bacula-sd), after the
update bacula use the whole jukebox from one node.

is a little bit better
(up to 77MB/s) but that's not enough.
The problem ist not the 32bit architecture...
Any ideas?

Hi,
i need some tips for a backup-server.
On a new backup-server i reach a backup-speed to an LTO-4 drive of
70MB/s only.
Here the config:
bacula 5.0.3 self compiled on debian squeeze 32bit OpenVZ-vm (Proxmox as
virtualisation platform).
neo200s jukebox (1 lto-4 SAS-drive) connected via a LSI SA
Hi,
i'm very happy with bacula - but my yesterday update from 3.0.2 to 5.0.2
makes me some headache.
Backup runs - but to restore a job bring the mysql-server to hang (ok,
the server work's but without result for over an hour).
With 3.0.2 it takes seconds (less than one minute) to build the

Hi,
if you switch to the backup-user (bacula?), perhaps you will be unable
to send mail because the rights of libbac-5.0.1.so are to strong:
bac...@backup-srv: $ /usr/sbin/bsmtp -h mailgate.domain.de -f
bac...@domain.de -s "testmail von bsmtp" bac...@domain.de
/usr/sbin/bsmtp: error while loading
