Hi,
we are using bacula 5.2.6 on a Ubuntu 14.04 LTS.
We have two pools for backups set up like this:
Pool {
Name = File
Pool Type = Backup
Recycle = yes
AutoPrune = yes
Volume Retention = 365 days
Maximum Volume Bytes = 50G
Maximum Volumes = 10
}
Pool {
Name = AB01

Hello,
the table "Status" contains the long and the short form of the job status
messages.
When I have a look at the table JobHisto, it has a field named JobStatus, but
most of the values are "54".
How do get the "real" job status message out of the table JobHisto?
Thanks,
Stefan

Hello,
I have removed a number of clients from bacula-dir.conf and restarted the
director.
In the bconsole "list clients" still lists the removed clients. The delete
command only allows me to remove volumes, pools and jobids.
So, how do I remove/delete clients?
Thanks for any hints/suggestion

does your /etc/bacula-sd.conf has something like this in it:

Media Type = File
Archive Device = /some-dir

Hi Alan,
THANKS for the long list of suggestions! It will check this during the next
days and hopefully send positive results to the list.

Hi,
we are using a Tandberg autchanger with eight LTO3 tapes, which could save
400/800 GB of data.
Herre is the definition of the device in bacula-sd.conf:
Device {
Name = Drive-1
Media Type = Ultrium-LTO3
Archive Device = /dev/st0

Hello,
we like to backup 18 different hosts on one tape. After the last job has
finished, Bacula should close the tape.
The problem is that Bacula closes the volume already after the first (!) job,
so that the next job waits for an appendable volume.
We changed the status of the volume from "u
