The warnings are about the same. It took about 3.5 minutes to transfer the
4.8GBs of data. 285k files are just a few less than 310k, however the insert
was apparently done in about 1 minute.

We're running a 2.4.4 environment. The server is a Debian Etch, the DB a
Postgres 8.1
We've been wanting to run a dist-upgrade to Lenny but haven'
nsert its files into
the database will then still need about 2 hours to complete. I figure
there might be more to it than just that.

log backups onto our bacula test environment. It's not
fast, but it sure is somewhat "off-site" :)

correct, which is why I put a "Enabled=no" in the job section of the
config files... which disables permanently. Or has been doing so so far.
And it does work for more jobs than it

ot; is one way of doing it. I suspect a careful "nohup" would do
just the same. For some instances I even use screen to work around
parallel processes, not only for Bacula issues.
You _could_ even start a second job, an admin job for instance that
takes care of the dumping.
