I have used Acronis in the Windows environment and can give some insight
into its operation.
Firstly I would like to say that I think it is a very good disaster
recover solution for a single server/workstation.
It is not designed for backing up to tape and is not ideal for backing
up to DVD.

I have decided to experiment with Bacula Director on my Windows XP box
but have run into a problem.
Bacula-fd and bacula-sd run fine but bacula-dir crashes immediately
whether run as a service or from the command line.
Logged in as an administrator I have tried the following command to
