I don’t think it’s a bacula problem, looks like a hardware failure from the
auto loader

I’ve installed Bacula in a Freebsd Jail and all is well, Also installed
Apache24, and the requisite php mods to run bacularis.
I’ve followed the manual instructions to the letter but when I get to the
install.sh step I get this error output :
root@Bacula1:/usr/local/www/bacularis/protected/too
ill, I think this is a https error. if you request the packages via

I can’t seem to access the Community binaries to update my now out of date
ubuntu bacula install.
Here’s what I’ve done:
Registered for community access
Received mail with access-keys
Downloaded and added gpg key files using
wget
https://www.bacula.org/downloads/Bacula-4096-Distribution-Ver
s.m.a.r.t. disk
checks as a regular part of my schedule and don’t expect to do this in an
archiving scenario, hard drives sitting on a shelf unpowered for in excess of
a year have frightening failure rates.
LTO tapes are meant to let for 30 yrs

Recently, I had to reconfigure a large ZFS disk array. Prior to the
reconfiguration, It was shared to my bacula-fd instance across NFS and I was
doing daily incrementals, the pool was configured with a scratch pool of blank
