Question: In the event of my entire bacula system going down. What is the
best method for recovery? I looked in the online manual, but it still was
not very clear to me.
If I have my backup of catalog files, all incremental and full backups, and
I reinstall bacula on a new server. How do I recover
*I was able to capture the following error from the Ubuntu Bacula server:*

Are there any requirements for Bacula to run on Ubuntu 10.10? Could the
server be missing something that is preventing the system from working with
Windows?
Thanks

I do not have the firewall running on the windows computer or the linux box.

Perhaps I will try the older bacula client to see if that will work.

Any suggestions?
Dns works for the bacula server and client workstations.
Passwords are all the same.
Thanks again

All,
This my first time setting up a Bacula server. I have installed Bacula on
Ubuntu 10.10 and am wanting to backup a Windows 7 machine. So far, I set the
same password for the client and all of the bacula (sd,fd,dir) config files.
The file storage is located at /bacula/backups on the local Bacula
Question:
Can I use the same File Storage and Volume for both Linux and Windows
backups?

someone offer suggestions as to what log files I should look
at to get the bconsole working again? Or, if there is something I should
look at to get it working again, I would appreciate it.
