I'm writing a script that will unmount and eject the tape when a new
tape is required (operator command), and will *WAIT* a new tape. If a
new tape was detected, the script will rewind the tape and mount the device.
My question is: Exist some command or procedure to check if the
2GHz P4s, 2G RAM, 4 disks in a RAID 10 would do

I've bacula runnning under FC3 on a dual-processor machine (P3
500Mhz). Around 16000 backups already been done (150 per day). Lately,
i've been some performance problem. While the jobs are running, the load
is up to 3 and the % user (sar -u) is 97%. In process list i see this:

I have bacula.1.38.10 running on FC3, doing disk backup and more
recently in a DAT-72 tape. I have had some problems when the tapes
filled, because bacula don't notify that i have to change the tape. I
have do use bconsole and see the "messages" to know when i have to
change my tape..exi

I run bacula every night, to backup 140 server on the internet (5
jobs concurrency), all running under ssh tunnel. Every morning in the
next day, when i see the bacula mails, i verify that just 127 of my
backups are finished. In the bconsole, i get messages like this one:

I install bacula-1.38.7 runnning on a Fedora 4. I configure bacula to
do two backups full in the night (2 different servers) and 1 backup full
in the morning (other server). Each night backup have around 500MB. The
both start at the same time, but one wait the other finish to start th
