I use the Exclude Dir Containing with a dotfile, the example is Exclude Dir Containing = "excludemefrombackup.txt" So I use ".nobackup" on unix, but any file will do. Then just create this file in any directory you want excluded, regardless of spaces, escaping or whatever. Much easier. On 16 Ma

Hello folks I have a copy job which copies my full backups to a USB drive using vchanger once a week. Recently, the backups have been exceeding the 1TB size of a single USB drive, which would be fine, I'll just use more than one drive. What isn't fine is that bacula is recycling its volumes too

This will cause a problem presumably, if you do backups on an LZO client (such as I'm considering on my SPARC T2 hosts, weedy CPU cores) then if necessary you can't restore these backups to a GZIP only client. It essentially limits the restore clients to those who also have LZO installed, yes? Al
