I have a restore job I need to do, but the volumes with the data are not currently in the library. As I have only one mail slot, it will probably need to be done in two steps. The drive currently has the last used appendable volume mounted. Do I need to release the storage and update slots

Hello all. I have Bacula 2.4.2 running on openSUSE 11.1, and I seem to have developed a tape issue I can't seem to resolve. I needed to remove some full tapes from the library and replace them with empty ones, and then take those new tapes and do a rewind/weof/label on them. It seems Bacula

I have an LTO-2 library with 20 slots and have a question about tape handling in Bacula. I have been running backups for about two weeks now, and I've about filled my tapes. I have two free slots yet, and then I am going to have to "check out" tapes and refill the library. The first fulls wer

I will preface this with the usual "I am new to Bacula" statement before diving into this. I have Googled the errors, and looked at email threads and attempted to get my configs to look like the ones in the documentation and in the various forums and email threads. But nothing seems to work.
