He was talking about a parameter in Catalog Resource called "Multiple
Connections = yes/no". This parameter does not show up in the actu
Oh of course, the Bacula version is 1.38.9 on x86_64-pc-linux-gnu debian
3.1 with MySQL 5.0.22

Hi,
I need a litte bit help with Baculas catalog database locking
mechanisms. Is there anything I can do, to avoid locking the whole
catalog db during pruning or restore (tree build)?
We run a full backup every week. The runtime is about 5 days (1,5 for
spooling and and 3-4 for writing the data
Fileserver (about 2,5 TB).
There is a combination of rsync, php (Apache & CLI) and bash running,
to fetch the nightly backups from 50 local and a second backup server
(remote) with 10 clients connected.
