i have set a bacula job trough webmin en also a volume pool but now they
doesn't show up annymore in webmin.
When i look in the shell is see the job and the volume pool. also the job is
running like it should.
anny idea why it does not show up annymore?
i only see the default jobs.

or should i do an upgrade to the latest version and if so how id do this
because last time all goes wrong after i tried to upgrade to the latest version,

Thanks for the advice, our server is a webhosting server with plesk we provide
also backups from plesk for our clients.
So we need every account to be backuped so that when the server fails we would
have all the data.

backup.

i finaly have bacula running but now when i run a job there is only 25.52 MB of
data backed up. And on the server i tried to backup is an 35GB on data saved.
Its a webserver with Parallels Plesk on it for controlling.
So i think that not all my data is save right now?

the readme file.
The only thing is that i never have it installed the right way, in my first
attempt where so manny errors that i want to do a new install on a clean centos
installation.

the bacula version must be Bacula 5.2.11. I tried the previos installation for
bacula but there where manny bugs in it.

hi Ana,
on the bacula website i was reading that i realy need to upgrade to the newest
version so i did but now i get the error again when i tried to start the dir.
bacula-dir dead but subsys locked. could it be that the mysql database not
upgraded yet? and if so anny idea how to do that?

i finaly get it to see in webmin and i try to start my first backup job but it
still keeps the running status and all the other jobs from the folowing day are
waiting.
Anny idea why this could be happening. I have set the clients firewall and open
the ports 9101-9103 for bacula.

now its running :-) i had two diferent clientsnames.
then i had a new error but i found out that the configurationfile for the
database was incorrect.
myql was not on.
So now i'm gonna try to backup the first server, and hope that i can do this
alone.

i've got director running, can see bacula in the webmin panel but when i tried
to run i get a new error.
