Hello everybody,
is there a way to easily change the default path to the BackupCatalog?
It seems to be hardcoded to /var/db/bacula, if I get it right, but my
/var is too small... Is there any way to put it elsewhere?
Thanks

Are you sure about this?
We have a job that takes 25 days to complete without any recompiling.

Hello,
I was trying to upgrade our Bacula 9.4.2 to 9.4.3 on FreeBSD.
I have to compile it from ports and not use binaries as the official PKG
uses pgsql while we're using mysql.
Anyhow, halfway through the compilation I get this error:
Linking bacula-dir ...
/usr/ports/sysutils/bacula9-serv
OK thanks for the pointers.
Tomorrow I'll test it with a few clients.
The next problem on my roadmap is the Mac OS X Binary client...
On the test machine I just installed it with Brew but compiling it from
scratch on the CEO machine seems complicated.

"users" machines?
I mean, like someone's desktop.
There are a few general problems I see along the way:

Hello, today, after years of usage, I have suddenly realised that in a
specific pool (SANBackup, it's a pool on a SAN Drive) all my Volumes
report having 24 files inside.
*Any* volume in the same pool. 24.
Other Pools (LTO based) are ok...
Any idea why, and why 24?
Thanks
