The byte size of your files for restore is immaterial. What
affects the time to mark files is:
1. The version of Bacula you are running. Very old versions are
very slow.
2. The number of files in the fileset.
3. How much memory y
I'm not saying you are bad like me, but, I just had what looks like this
issue and there was an "archive"
being made in that machine that contained those files. I see you have
this on multiple machines, but I would
check just in case. Otherwise there *could* be another reason but I am
unaware of

I just installed the File and Storage Daemon on a Windows Server 2008 R2
server by user the following binary file:
