Hi there,
I don't know if this has been discussed but google won't show me
relevant results.
I use bacula to backup to eternus library with 4 drives. Multi drive
config and simultaneous write works great. But what I need is to
restrict one pool (offsite pool) to write to only single volume so th

My original question, is anyone using Max Bandwidth successfully and
what are YOUR optimal settings?
This is in the context of having multiple KVM VMs backing up from a
node. If you are not using Max Bandwidth
then this question is not for you. Thanks!

Just in time: reading again your initial message I think you assume it is a
network bottleneck.
If it's the case you may use ethtool to fetch the actual capacity of your
ethernet interfaces (even bad cabling can make a 1000 Gb interface negotiating
100 Mb) and try to estabilish a lower value fo

Hello, thank you very much ;o)
So I have decided that I should finally upgrade my 5.2.12-based backup

And then I have found, that some serv

Hello Randy,
I was talking about your backup windows (the period of time you have to run
your backups). Since you´re having problems with your servers running out
of resources (basically bandwidth), I suppose you´re running backups during
intensive use of your servers.
If this is the problem, you
