Hello Lukas,
I´m sorry, I was talking about JobId 1557 and not the 1584. I think the
problem here is not the number of files, but the VolBytes=64,512. For
Bacula, your volume has no backup data. Have you checked the information
for this volume before the bscan -s -m operation? Did it appear in cat
Hi Uthra,
What do you get with the estimate command for this job?

Iptables? Is there any way you are using a 32bits client on a 64 environment?
- My bacula server is RHEL 6 (64-bit) and the client is Debian O.S. (64-bit
sparc)
I opened port 9102 on the client.
Thank you.

Wanderlei,
I am able to ping and also telent to port 9102 from the bacula server to the
client (Debian on sparc architecture). I am able to telnet to port 9103 from
the client to the bacula server.
I re-installed bacula and still have the same problem.
Thank you.

Hello Uthra: do you have selinux enabled on the storage daemon side (RHEL)?
Does your connection go through a firewall or maybe a nasty router?
Depending on your answers you may try to use the "Heartbeat Interval" option in
the affected daemons.
Hello Heitor,
SELINUX is not enabled on the bacul
Just define one Schedule with different levels and different pools:

Got it!
The incremental backup is based on the full backup executed with:
- The same Job name. (in my case I have different jobs: Job1 and Job2)

Hi Ana,
I had just cut and pasted the relevant part of the log. The fileset is -> “File
= /” (it has to back-up everything from root).
Thank you.

Hello,
Bacula is a big, stable and mature backup program, so between
major versions, it is quite often a year -- this is because the
new features are often very complex and big projects. In between
major versions there are more frequent update releases. T

Hi Kern,
Don't let Bacula Community takes one year without releasing a new version.
Please!

Hello,
Bacula version 7.0.5
I'm trying to copy a bacula tape to another blank tape with 2 LTO3 (I
want to keep same Volume name for both).
sudo /usr/local/bacula/sbin/bcopy -d 99 -dt -v -c
/usr/local/bacula/etc/bacula-sd.conf -b
/usr/local/bacula/var/bacula/working/copie-bande.bsr -i

Yes, either get the Bacula Systems
Enterprise Edition, or wait for the next community version -- to
be released as soon as I correct one bug that is really bugging
me.
