Hello.
First let me say that i am new to bacula and have little experience with
Linux in general.
I managed to compile and install Bacula 7.0.4 on a virtual machine with
ubuntu server 12.0.4.
I wanted to do some tests by using my actual machine (Windows 7 x64) as
client, running bacula-fd 5.
Thank you for the response.
You correctly mention that it has to talk SCSIit's an external USB drive
and I don't know the internals of the drive.
Apart from that, I'm still waiting for an answer on a earlier question about
database tables. Bacula hasn't run yet because there are no Bacula MyS

Hi all,
I am in desperate need of help. I have a server that had died. It was a
faithful bacula client and I have backups I wish to recover. However when

I think you are over working your include line. This one works for me, you may
need to adjust for your path(s):
@|"sh -c 'for f in /etc/bacula/clients.d/*.conf ; do echo @${f} ; done'"

Sadly not. I tried this in /etc/bacula/bacula-dir.conf:
@|"find /etc/bacula/conf.d/clients -name '*.conf' -type f -exec echo
\{\} \;"
And after a reload it threw the same error:

Nope! I really thought you got me here, but it is what Bacula wrote into
Hello,
the Bacula Wiki indicate what version (client) will with what
version. It doesn't say a word abou V7 - I'm afraid.

Hi all,
Please bear with since I'm new to Bacula!
I wanted to add a new client and after a reload (echo "reload" |
/usr/sbin/bconsole) the following error popped up:
11-Aug 10:47 bacula-dir: ERROR in parse_conf.c:938 Config error:
Expected a Resource name identifier, got: find:
