I think it can be perfectly normal. As far as I understand it, unless
you're using file-per-table option
My ibdata1 file is currently at almost a GB. As far as I know Bacula is
the only thing using mysql on my workstation. Is this size normal? I've
seen generic mysql postings about ibdata1 expanding because of bad
transactions and the inability to shrink it. I'm not sure how this fits
in with Bacu
Yes, using separate pools would prevent media sharing.
You could also try setting Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 1 in the Device directive
in the Storage Daemon. See:

Hi,
just to get me right. The server is connected to the storage (hard drive disks)
and the Tape Library is connected via Ethernet, so this is definetly possible?.
I guess that bacula will be the perfect solution!
Thank you so much!!!
Best,

Hi Philip,
Bacula doesn’t have any issues with LTO6 media in general. I’m running with HP
LTO6 drives (in a Fujitsu LT60 S2, which I understand to be functionally
identical to an HP MSL4048) perfectly happily.

Ben Roberts

Hi Phil
We use a Neo400 which is same as a TS3200 and two IBM ULTRIUM-HH6 LTO 6
Drives and Tapes connected via SAS (LSI 9207-8e) OS is Centos6.5
Everything works out of the box.

Oops, my bad...
The Blog and Recent Topics sections at the top remain the same everywhere and
take up so much space that I have to page down to see the actual content, which
*is* there.

Hi Kern,
It isn't working for me either (Chrome on Windows 7).
All links just seem to refresh the opening page, can't get into the
documentation or support pages.

Hi,
I am also a little concerned about the LTO6 tapes. Bacula can handle those as
well?
Thanks

Hi,
thanks for the reply. Yes I have set maximum Jobs to 3. I have two
drives in one Library witch can (must!) handle two jobs at a time so I
set the maximum Job for the Storage Daemon/Resource since I though
that’s the way to go - Actually I would love to spread one job over two
drives but I h
Hello,
I have a tape library with both LTO-3 and LTO-4 tape drives.
The individual tape drives and all tapes have been assigned proper
media types, "LTO-3" or "LTO-4", respectively.
Which media type would I assign to the autoloader resource? I
understand I can provide only one type, not a list o

Hi,
is it only for me that the bacula.org web site is non-functional?
I get always only an entry page, and no matter which link I click, the
content will not change - exception: the links in the "Downloads" menu
still work.
Especially, it is impossible to get access to the documentation...
