Hello bacula users,
I'm not talking about the starship, but I am curious about how many clients a
bacula server can reasonably support, being backed up every night.
I realise that there probably isn't a definitive answer to this question
because there are so many variables involved. But if anybody
I wouldn't take it so hard. At least you know that it is not a Bacula
bug, which might have been even more painful :-)
Best regards,
Kern

I have discovered the problem and it had to do with my /etc/hosts file. I had
changed it a bit slightly a while ago and I recently remembered that bacula
started acting up when I changed it (I was working with DNS and mail server at
the time). Basically the issue was I that I had "192.168.12.13
It is unlikely that this is a Bacula problem, especially considering
your remark that you have
used it for years and never had any problems.
My best guess is that you have bad media or a bad medium or a bad
connector. When writing, unless the OS reports an error, Bacula assumes
the write is good.
