It seems to me that you are not using a client at your director host to
backup your catalog:
- your "Job=BackupCatalog2" is using "Client: "bacula2-fd" 5.0.0 (26Jan10)"
and this is not the director host, because you said that had a "my os

given much information. This is not a bacula bug. Thousands of users
successfully backup their catal
