I believe that is correct, if your client IP's are static that would be a great
workaround.
I am by no means an expert when it comes to TC and linux, I just know this
works for us.

I'm pushing another update (5.2.7-4.fc17) to the repository, some bugs
were discovered in Fedora.
In this build, the bacula-sd has changed group:
- RHEL 5 = bacula-sd runs as bacula/disk
- RHEL 6 / Fedora = bacula-sd runs as bacula/tape
