I'm back again :(
dbcheck didn't work this time and I'm unable to work out how to continue.
Testing each part of the process as best I could I've worked out:
- We are using an older version of bacula
- Bacula crashes when doing a restore
- Bacula runs the pgsql command, pgsql doesn't crash. Thou
Excellent Wassim! Wish I had that back when I first installed
Bacula! And for those who are not RPM bound who have many *nix
clients to upgrade:

I just updated to bacula-5.2.6 (from 5.2.5) using the Fedora-15
rpms at repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/slaanesh/bacula/.
However, when I try to start the bacula-dir, it appears it
is trying to open a sqlite database catalog, rather than the
postgresql one I have been using.
# cd /etc/bacula
Thanks Mayak for your feedback, and updating accordingly.

Hi Wass
Hi Wassim,
Looks good, however, the necessity to compile can be obviated by
downloading and using some fantastic rpms:
# Place this file in your /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory
[epel-bacula]
name=Bacula backports from rawhide
baseurl=http://repos.fedorapeople.org/repos/slaanesh/bacula/epel-$releasev
Hello List,
I thought I would share my installation of Bacula on Centos, so I wrote this
blog:

Feel free to share, comment on the blog, and let me know what you think.
