Thanks for your reply, Martin!
I'm backing up only a single file for this test and the data written is
about 1/5th as big as the file it's backing up, and the job status shows
a 78% compression ratio.

fine. It just looking

Giday,
I'm considering the option of disabling duplicate job control on copy
jobs. This is especially useful with the PoolUncopiedJobs option. With
this option, you want to copy all uncopied jobs from the pool in question.
However, if some of those Jobs are configured to avoid duplicates, you

Hi Phil,
you're right, I should have provided this details :
bacula dir version : 5.0.3
bacula fd version : 5.0.3
bat version : 5.0.3
command seen in bat console :
.mod restoreclient="bert" fileset="fs_bert_systeme" storage="gate_sd"

Hi All,
On a customer site, we need to "migrate" all the old sdlt tapes to disk base
media.
Everything is working actually between a temporary bacula-sd on which the sdlt
tape is connected,
and the disk based media.
All work well with the usage of bcopy

If you bothered to read the first paragraph then you will see that I followed a
working setup on ClearOS which backs up the catalog to the same tape as the
main backup, but on the Ubuntu 10.04 server it doesn't bac

Dear All,
Thank you for the time to read my post.

and those files that are the s
