hi all
I've setup a test box with bacula and have done a backup or two. after that, I
recreated the storage and installed the SD on the storage server directly so I
won't have to use NFS for that part. Now the database contains info about
former backups no longer existing.
How can I reset the

Hi all
We're planning a Bacula setup soon with disk as the backup medium. The disk
space will be hosted by OpenSolaris/OpenIndiana on ZFS. Since ZFS supports
block-level deduplicaiton, at least theoretically (there are a few bugs aorund,
but they are rumored to be fixed - I'll do some testing b

Hi folks,
I need to restore files older than 6 months from different days (all
from same directory structure). Following is the partial definition of
the client.
File Retention = 180 days
Job Retention = 60 months
Will it be possible to restore only the files that I am interest

Hi all!
I have FreeBSD 8.0 with bacula 3.0.2 as a backup server. The only thing
which works so far is the webmin module. That's fine and useful but the
reporting is a bit too simple.
Thus I tried bweb and bacula-web and had a look at webacula.
I got bacula-gui-5.0.3 and did what the README told

Hi all,
I have just installed bacula 5.0.3 from src rpms, and I can't get bat to
start.
I have checked bat.conf bacula-dir.conf. I can get bconsole working using
bat.conf.
This is the output I get:
bat: lockmgr.c:911 ASSERT failed at lockmgr.c:911: lmgr_is_active()
I ran strace and this seems

There is no benefit on the creation of 100 pools for 100 different jobs
/ servers.

when I say 100 backups, I mean 100 different servers with different pools.
