I have a bacula server that has multiple network connections, dual ethernet and
infiniband. I want the bacula-sd to be able to receive data from both the
ethernet and the infiniband networks. How is it possible in the
bacula-dir.conf to force certain servers over the infiniband network,
Hello there,
I am running Bacula 2.4.4 on Ubuntu server and 2.4.4 Windows clients.
Everything works fine, except of one thing. There are localized slovak and
czech WinXPs and they have localized also file paths (i.e. Application data
is translated as Data aplikací). Look at the last letter, it's "í

I'm a sysadmin who just recently inherited an all Mac & Windows environment.
We have both servers & clients of both persuasions and no Linux boxes. Our
current backup strategy is a mish-mosh of cron jobs and external hard
drives. Hardly a "solution."
Basically I would like to get the "server-si

Yes. You probably need a LOT more ram and to tune mysql's parameters.

Someone on the list have managed to mount any backup strategy for the system
state Windows 2008? It's possible to generate incremental backups since we
are forced to use the tool wbadmin.
Thanks a lot,

Hi,
I just tested the patch at:
http://bugs.bacula.org/view.php?id=1526
and it works fine and solves the problem in my case.
Thank you.
Daniel.

Good Afternoon All,
How can I set the label format so that bacula auto labels the tape to
the week number, automatically.
For example, I want the tape to label the newly inserted tape Week-12
LabelMedia = yes
Label Format = Week-$ <--what should I put here please.
Kind Regards,
Prashant

Hello,
I would like to be able to tell bacula that Incrementals cannot be run whilst
another Incremental is running.
I would also like to be able to tell bacula that VirtualFulls *can* be run
whilst an Incremental is running.
Is that possible?

Hi
I am attempting to restore a backup for which the files have exceeded the
retention period and therefore I need to restore the whole backup in order
to extract the files I want.
This is fine, except that the restore job keeps failing after it has
restored 23.0 GB out of a total of 68.0 GB.
Volumes are being recycled, and re-used, and this function is working as
expected.
What I want Bacula to do is create automatically new volumes when needed, and
this works, … but not always, as I’m sometimes getting this :
