So Volume Use Duration sets the use time for the volumes to 31d Max, starting
to count at the first use.
Maximum Volume Bytes sets the size of the volume File.
I want to use the Minimum of both 'min(Maximum Volume Bytes, Volume Use
Duration)' and the Volume Use Duration should start
Ok, maybe i have to clarify more precise.
The goal is to have backups each month within volume files each max size of
25G.
If the backup exceed 25G there should be 2 Volumes created for that month.
The next month it should use a new Volume for the backup, no matter how much
space is left on th

BTW I missed one point. After the 31 days expires it will be able to
be recycled and thus bacula will use it again when it needs

Hello,
i want to setup a special setup for the volume management for a pool.
Every month the pool should use a new Volume with the label of the date +
string. Also it should split the Volumes in 25GB if it reached the limit.
I know how to configure each Statement alone, but not together in co

Hi,
I'd just like to run something by you guys to see am I doing it right.
We have a senior staff member who exclusively works on a laptop and moves
around and travels a lot. A full backup takes 5+ hours due mainly to the
relatively slow disk and large amount of data. That's just not practical.

Hello Faria,
as it's no "real part" of Bacula, the Nagios plugin is in the
examples/nagios/check_bacula
directory. As far as I remember Arno Lehman has brought in a patch that makes
"configure"
also create a correct Makefile in check_bacula. So when you build from source,
simple go

It has created 10 directories store0001 -> store0010 when I created volumes
using command add in bconsole.
Output of ls -laR /mnt:
/mnt:
total 12
drwxrwxrwx 3 root root 4096 2009-04-13 11:33 .
drwxr-xr-x 2
