There is a "Maximum Volume Jobs" option that restricts the number of jobs that can be written to a volume. I am using disk based storage with 1 job per volume so I have it set to 1. Last night my disk ran out of space, so I ended up with tens of volumes in 8 pools with just a little bit written to

I tried the Windows packages today on Vista 6.0.6002. I tried both win64bacula-3.0.3a.exe and winbacula-3.0.3a.exe but each resulted in Vista saying 'this didn't install properly' (my wording). I also tried winbacula-3.0.3.exe and winbacula-3.0.3.exe: fail. I've also seen the error "The item '

After years of compiling and installing bacula manually I recently installed it via yum on Fed12, following this: http://wiki.bacula.org/doku.php?id=howto_install_and_configure_bacula_on_fedora_9_using_yum. Its worked, but I noticed the /etc/bacula directory only has the 4 *.conf files whereas

Hello all, I'm currently using Bacula to backup a bunch of systems (servers and a few laptops) and I'm very happy with it. So first thanks to the developers and everyone involved :-) I'm currently using Debian Lenny's Bacula 2.4.4-1, and I'm planning to migrate to the backports version, 3.0.2-3.
