It's a common trouble on deb like distro, packager transform network bacula
solution to only localhost ready solution.
You just have to check everywhere in conf that you use a real qualified name
and replace localhost !

Previously I asked for help to configure one tape for each day of the
week. I succeeded on that configuration.
However, I had some problems yesterday. Monday was a holiday here and

Try to telnet to port 9102 from the bacula director. If this connects,
then you will want to look at the passwords. If that fails, then you
have a different problem altogether, but I'm not going into that here.
Try to telnet to that port, and report back here what you find.

Try something like
