Greetings, all
I'm brand-new to Bacula, and am trying to set up vchanger.sh using the
documentation at http://wiki.bacula.org/doku.php?id=removable_disk in
combination with the Bacula manuals. I'm running version 2.4 of Bacula
itself, and the back end is MySQL 5.1.x.

I'm trying to help some people with a problem with Bacula. You have to

compression=GZIPn where n is 1-9 (1 being the fastest but worst
compression ratio, 9 being the slow

I have a need to perform a full restore and verification of the backups of 2
hosts. I'm not sure the best way to do this, or rather what best practices
are for verifying backups, their readability, and completeness.
Can anyone suggest some methods for accomplishing this?
Thanks,
Shon

I'm not sure if that is bug, or just very strange coincident, but...
Our bacula jobs are running night. they scheduled around 1am, then obviously
running for most of night as priority and max job parameters allowing.
On Sunday, however, they failed all. And there's no error there, just not
Hi,
I'm at my wits end here. I'd appreciate any feedback on this.
I have the following directory
/home/avrozen/temp/bacula-test/owned-by-root/owned-by-avrozen/owned-by-bacula/bacula-test
with some files in it. I've specifically chowned the directories and
files to different users and groups.
