Hello,
I recently bought a Quantum Scalar50 with 76 slots and 2 LTO-4 drivs. These are
two Scalar50 units connected together, drives go to the bottom unit and the
other unit serves as extra slots.
mtx is 1.3.12, OS is CentOS 5.3
At first, mtx-changer (bacula 3.0.1) didn't recognize most the slot

chuckle! I think the question Craig
wanted to ask is
"How to I configure my NAS as a device for Bacula-SD to use" :)
Which, coincidentally, is the question I was going to ask!

As long as you OS supports the drive and the changer bacula will be

Make sure you specify the full path to the config file through the -c
commandline option. Most likely cause is the fd loading its
configuration from a different file than the one you're looking at

What other things could this mean?
I have checked with Wireshark that the Hello command is going to the

at each end. There is no other information anywhere else AFAICS.

Well, what does the log say about why? Is it looking for a pool
that doesn't exist or have been fully defined?

Dear All,
I have bacula up and running, I have the BDD, FD, and SD - all up and
running on the same machine. Yet the default backup jobs always fails.
I wish to backup to a device which is mounted on /backup - it's a NAS
with a good few TB of storage - how would I go about doing this? I am
