Hi Bacula Users,
Does anyone have experience setting up Storage Daemons at different
sites from the Director? I'm thinking that it would be really nice to
have a central console where I can see and control the backups of
other sites, but I don't have the bandwidth to send all the data to

Hi,
I just installed a new firewall based on CentOS 5.3 and Shorewall. This
is a replacement for an older firewall, also using Shorewall.
Ports are opened, and the FD on the firewall can talk to the director.
Any time I start a backup job on the firewall, the network seems to
hang. Even after

I'm fairly certain that when you do a "status dir", no matter
how many days you specify, you'll only see the soonest occuring
job of a certain level.
So, if you have a Full, Differential and an Incremental, of a
certain job defined then only the next of each of those will
be shown. If you change

Thanks ;-). I found this
http://wiki.bacula.org/doku.php?id=howto_create_bat_3.0_rpm_on_rhel_5_or_centos_5
on how to get it to compile.
Thanks,

Dear All,
Bacula (3.0.2) is configured to make daily backups of some systems. Full
backups unfortunately take more then one day to complete and I want to
avoid that duplicate jobs start (or are queued) before the full backup
is completed.
No duplicate job control directives are configured. If I un
Hello Dan!
Do you intend to fix this issue sometime?
I can easily edit Makefile every time I upgrade Bat from ports, but it cannot
be done in automatic build systems, eg. PC-BSD PBI-builds, so they fail every
time they try to install it.
